WLHA Board of Directors Meeting 2/19/09 

Members present at the meeting held at Giuseppe’s – John Bogue, President; Colleen Brooks, Vice President; Debbie Clayton, Secretary; Ronnie Simmons, Director.  Not present at the meeting were Wayne McKitrick, Treasurer and Bryan Cobb, Developer Liaison.  Lu Ann Collins, Waterford Neighbor, attend the meeting with information regarding the T-racks for the common area.

The plaques for the entrance walls were discussed.  We decided to have someone from Oakwood Monuments come out to give us an estimate on bronze and granite.  John Bogue and Debbie Clayton met with Christy Perkinson on Monday, February 23, 2009.  Christy Perkinson will give us an estimate on both types of plaques.

John Bogue discussed the stone situation at the common area driveways.  We have decided not to use the slag in the common area due to possible environmental concerns.  John said the stone is good for now after he turned it over.  He plans to keep the area turned over in order to prevent potholes from forming.

Scott Wray, Waterford Neighbor, and owner of Heartland Concrete happen to be at Giuseppe’s the same night with his family.  He was kind enough to step in and talk to the Board about patterned concrete for the common area.  He will be doing some work at his personal home and could also pour the concrete at the common area.  This would be helpful on the driveway for the boat launch.  He will get us further information if we are interested in doing this.

Lu Ann Collins discussed the T-racks for the common area.  These are used for storage of canoes and kayaks.  We decided to have Lu Ann gather the information as she is familiar with this and we will present it to the neighborhood at the annual meeting in April.

The Board will work on the agenda for the annual meeting at our next regular meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for March 19^th, at 6:30 at Giuseppe’s.  Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
