Special Board of Directors Meeting 3/29/08

Meeting was held at the Waterford Landing Common Area.

Present at the meeting:  Jimmie Davis, President; John Bogue, Vice President; Wayne McKitrick, Treasurer; Bryan Cobb, Developer Liaison.

The Board discussed options for contracting Lawn maintenance for the twelve month period beginning April 1, 2008 and ending March 31, 2009. After reviewing various proposals, it was voted and approved to continue with Short’s Lawn Care Service for this period. It was further decided to be more diligent in holding them accountable for their service.

The board decided to delay a proposal to redo the main entrance landscaping until after the Annual Homeowners Association Meeting. The proposal will be discussed with the membership and the board will make a decision based on the recommendation of the membership afterwards.

The board voted to ask Bo and Debbie Clayton to continue working on adding lighting to the entrance area and let the board know when this can be accomplished.

John Bogue discussed several ideas for additional fundraising including soliciting donations from the neighborhood residents for various projects in lieu of raising annual dues.

Finally, the board briefly discussed the agenda for the Annual Meeting. Jimmie Davis will complete this soon.
